Back before I owned a home, I did live on Carling Drive which is parallel to
Allied on the other side of the bike path. This was before the bike path - in
fact I saw a train go by a couple of times. Of course I was into biking back
then. I had bikes in my living room and a bike in my kitchen. See the problem?
Normal people (not like us) don't like to store bikes in those areas. But there
wasn't any other place. I suggest zoning for all new apartments require indoor
storage for bicycles. Perhaps we can find a way to retrofit the old apartments.
A warehouse at the park would have been too far away for me. My bikes would
have stayed in the apartment.

Bike storage needs to be on each residential property, and indoors. Lockers and
garages are ok, but an outdoor rack doesn't work for overnight storage.

So that is my 2 cents as a former resident.
