how to forward the domain?

Hello, all.
 
I would like to forward the domain to other dns server.
so I read the bind admin document and set like below but, I don't know why this 
config doesn't work well.
surely x.x.x.x is a customer dns and set correctly.  
 
zone "example.com" {
        type forward;
        forward only;yone whos knows 
        forwarders {x.x.x.x;};
};
 
Anyone who knows how to do it?
