The child RRset will be cached and returned in client queries. However, it has been suggested to check with the parent servers that the delegation is still unchanged when it expires, so that you don't get stuck eternally on name servers which serve a stale copy of the zone after a delegation change. I'm not sure that this is implemented in BIND. -- Florian Weimer <fwei...@bfk.de> BFK edv-consulting GmbH http://www.bfk.de/ Kriegsstraße 100 tel: +49-721-96201-1 D-76133 Karlsruhe fax: +49-721-96201-99 _______________________________________________ Please visit https://lists.isc.org/mailman/listinfo/bind-users to unsubscribe from this list bind-users mailing list bind-users@lists.isc.org https://lists.isc.org/mailman/listinfo/bind-users
