Hi,
I would want my Test DNS Server running bind Version:
bind-9.8.2-0.17.rc1.el6.x86_64/bind-chroot-9.8.2-0.17.rc1.el6.x86_64 to listen
for Requests on both IPV4 and IPV6.

I made the following changes in Options --> Added listen-on-v6 { any; };
options {
directory "/var/named";
dump-file "/var/named/data/cache_dump.db";
statistics-file "/var/named/data/named_stats.txt";
memstatistics-file "/var/named/data/named_mem_stats.txt";
allow-query { any; };
listen-on-v6 { any; };
recursion no;
/* Path to ISC DLV key */
bindkeys-file "/etc/named.iscdlv.key";
managed-keys-directory "/var/named/dynamic";
};

and I made a simple test to figure if this was working -->
# dig localhost @::1

cat /etc/hosts

I see that named is not listening on IPV6
[root@guntur named]# netstat -lnptu |grep "named\W*$"

What changes would be required to make Bind Listen on both IPV4 and IPV6?
