Is there a reason you don't consider having BIND slave the
"intra.example.net" & "2.55.10.in-addr.arpa" zones?
I think this would help performance and add (some) fault tolerance to
your configuration.
Similarly, I'd have the MS-DNS servers slave the BIND zones
"intra.example.com" & "6.168.192.in-addr.arpa" if possible.
