It should be the root zone master file. However authoritative server implementations differ in whether they echo the query case or preserve the master case. e.g. a.root-servers.net (running Verisign ATLAS) echoes case, f.root-servers.net (running BIND) preserves case. k.root-servers.net is amusing because it runs a load balancer in front of BIND, Knot, and NSD; Knot and NSD echo case, so K-root's case handling behaviour is unpredictable.
