| Yeah, the thing that Canonical is doing is frankly confusing for more people.
Basically from now on you only get Ubuntu 18.04 updates if you pay for the Ubuntu Pro service (or register for **Personal use**).

Ubuntu 18.04 is EOL (End of Standard Support), and we don’t
publishing packages for distributions without security support.
You need to upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 or Ubuntu 22.04.
