POSITION: Associate Oracle Applications Developer WORK LOCATION: Cilandak Campus
PURPOSE Under the supervision of the School-wide Technology Coordinator, the Oracle Applications Developer is principally responsible for the support of financial information systems. Such support includes, but is not limited to, the design, development, and management of application software, systems analysis, and end-user support with the use of appropriate desk-top tools. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES 1. Indonesian citizen 2. University degree in information systems or equivalent. 3. Minimum 3 years experience in systems development in MS Windows/Unix environments. 4. Proficient in written and spoken English and Indonesian. 5. Expert in using Oracle tools (Internet Development Suite) and designer (forms and reports) 6. Thorough knowledge of ORAFIN/Oracle Financial Applications (A/R, G/L F/A, CM, PAYABLES) and Oracle Essential 7. Thorough knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL or other enterprise DBMS required 8. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products 9. Knowledge of structure/development methodology 10. Ability to understand and document workflows and business processes 11. Ability to create custom forms and reports using Oracle e-Business template 12. Ability to work directly with senior management and end users 13. Discreet in handling confidential information 14. Measurable history of responsibility while working unsupervised for extensive periods of time when required 15. Measurable history organizational skills, sense of priorities, time management 16. Demonstrated desire to take initiative in the work setting 17. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others 18. Helpful, cooperative and eager to serve 19. Willing to work overtime hours to meet schedules DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Conducts the design, development, testing, implementation, troubleshooting, training, documentation and maintenance of programs in Oracle, workstation and client-server platforms • Analyzes user needs and develops functional specifications • Prepares detailed specifications from which software can be written • Develops forms and internet-ready programs using Oracle tools (IDS) • Provides ongoing user-support of business needs • Evaluates and analyzes data processing problems, designs and writes programs for new applications and modifications for users • Establishes policies, procedures, standards for use, control, and security of files • Maintains, monitors, and tunes the existing application programs. Oracle Database server, Oracle Applications (oracle Financial, HR, Purchasing, inventory)/Oracle ERP modules, Oracle tools (IDS) • Documents process and work flows in English using Visio 2000 and MS Word • Communicates with users and management concerning performance of data processing support including training for users • Maintains secure environment for sensitive data • Works with our Web applications developers using knowledge of XML XSL ASP PHP and JavaScript • Reviews off-the-shelf software programs for possible acquisition • Learns and applies pertinent JIS and school policies, rules, and regulations with good judgment in a variety of situations • Performs any other work that may be assigned by the supervisor Builds Positive Interpersonal Relationships • Promotes positive interactions and fosters a sense of identity and pride in JIS among students, parents, faculty, and colleagues • Maintains an open attitude toward new ideas • Collaborates with school wide teams and staff • Establishes and maintains cooperative and positive working and team relationship with those involved in the course of work Ongoing Professional Growth • Continues to acquire new learning and reflects new learning and professional practice • Shares in opportunities for in-service and workshop offerings • Shares professional knowledge with other colleagues • Sets goals for professional development, takes advantage of professional development opportunities, and demonstrates current best practice in the field of technology Apply to: Human Resources Manager Jakarta International School Jl.
