Hi Dan,
This seems to have changed the name of the package in the subversion
repository, and I can see the build reports - but the html page is still
http://bioconductor.org/packages/devel/bioc/html/riboSeq.html with the
old versions on it, and biocLite won't install riboSeqR if I give it the
devel repository. Is there something else I need to do to fix this?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Dan,
Could you rename it to riboSeqR, please?
OK, I've done this. I also changed the DESCRIPTION file so that riboSeqR is the
value of the Package: field.
You should go through the remainder of the package and change the package name
where appropriate.
Dan
Thanks,
Tom

Subject: [Bioc-devel] Changing the name of a package
I have a package on the development build called riboSeq; my
biological
collaborators have since informed me that this name might cause
confusion as this is also the standard name for particular
sequencing
techniques. Is it possible to easily change the name of this
package?
This should not be a problem, since your package has not yet
undergone a release. Let me know what you want the new name to be
and I will rename the directory in svn and make sure that your svn
permissions apply to that new directory. Then you'll want to go
through the package and change its name throughout, most
importantly in the Package: field of the DESCRIPTION file.
