Is your package in the submission queue, I see it is. It is best to ask
questions there so it can be tracked by your reviewer.

Packages submitted at this phase will be officially released in spring and
therefore should be tested against all devel versions of packages. The current
Bioc devel 3.13 is using R-devel (In preps for the R release in spring) which
is actually 4.1.

However, yes the ERROR stems from adding R >4.1 in the DESCRIPTION. You could
remove this temporarily while the build systems are still on 4.0. This is a
tricky week for the single package builder because we have yet to switch over
to the devel builders. We normally wait about a week after the Bioconductor
release to make sure any build system issues arise are from the release and not
from adding the Single Package Builder to try and isolate initial issues.

Subject: [Bioc-devel] skipped, ERROR

Dear Devel team

My package encountered an error "ERROR: this R is version 4.0.3, package
'RLassoCox' requires R >= 4.1".

I don't know if it is because I added Depends: R (>= 4.1) in the DESCRIPTION
file as suggested by BiocCheck. How to fix this error?
===============================  R CMD BUILD =============================== *
checking for file RLassoCox/DESCRIPTION ... OK * preparing RLassoCox: *
checking DESCRIPTION meta-information ... OK * installing the package to
process help pages ----------------------------------- ERROR: this R is
version 4.0.3, package 'RLassoCox' requires R >= 4.1
Best regards,Wei Liu
