Hi Sireesha, setenv works depending on the kind of shell u r using shell, bash. if setenv does not work , try export instead of setenv
Follow this XTOOL_HOME = installationdirectory export XTOOL_HOME to check if the environment variable has been set properly fire the following command echo $XTOOL_HOME. it would give u the path for XTOOL_HOME that is the installation directory. Let me know if this worked. You could then save it in your bashrc file.
