I don't know if anybody needs this, but I seem to remember it being discussed, so... I've split out the parser for BLAST's XML format, and it is now available at http://malde.org/~ketil/biohaskell/blastxml. It will eventually migrate to Hackage, but I'm doing some testing ATM (parsing and extracting info from a 64G file of Uniprot to Swissprot matches - don't hold your breath :-) - although so far it seems to run well and within a 40M footprint)
We also need to get the HCAR entry up to date, anybody have anything they want to change or add to last year's entry? http://www.haskell.org/communities/11-2011/html/report.html#bioinformatics -k -- If I haven't seen further, it is by standing in the footprints of giants _______________________________________________ Biohaskell mailing list [email protected] http://malde.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/biohaskell
