I don't know if anybody needs this, but I seem to remember it being
discussed, so... I've split out the parser for BLAST's XML format, and
it is now available at http://malde.org/~ketil/biohaskell/blastxml.  It
will eventually migrate to Hackage, but I'm doing some testing ATM
(parsing and extracting info from a 64G file of Uniprot to Swissprot
matches - don't hold your breath :-) - although so far it seems to run
well and within a 40M footprint)

We also need to get the HCAR entry up to date, anybody have anything
they want to change or add to last year's entry?
