As promised last month – we are excited to announce that November 20th will be the first ever BSIG Lightning Talk meeting! This is an opportunity to give a 5-minute talk on any bioinformatics topic you like – with or without slides. There will be 2 minutes per speaker for Q&A. Special information and time lines - Register by Monday, November 3 at 5 pm using the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1yxTclbyafeb_zgLmuO4gSY4466k5l13jJ2lNt4zj6Kk/viewform The final line-up of speakers will be mailed out November 7th and we ask that scheduled speakers have PDFs to us by November 13th. We ask that you include a brief intro line – Title, your name, anything else you want – that is less than 130 characters. We will tweet these out at the start of your talk. If we are oversubscribed, never fear – we will continue at the March meeting to accommodate everyone interested.
