Subject: Register Now for CLC Genomics Workbench Training—June 10
To: [email protected]

CLC Genomics Workbench, for analyzing, comparing, and visualizing next
generation sequencing data, incorporates cutting-edge technology and
algorithms, while also supporting and integrating with the rest of a
typical NGS workflow. It is a comprehensive and user-friendly analysis
package with a "point-and-click" interface. It uses an SIMD-accelerated
assembly algorithm in its next generation sequencing solution and is a
cross-platform desktop application.

The focus of this training will be on RNA-sequencing analysis and gene
expression.

This will include:

• Sample processing, i.e., mapping to annotated references

• Getting counts

• Building experiment tables

• Testing for differential expression

NIH and HHS staff are invited to attend the CLC Genomics Workbench training,
on June 10, organized by the NIH Library Bioinformatics Support Program

The free training will be held in the NIH Library Training Room, Building
10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is required (use the link provided
below).

The class will be taught by Kerry English of Qiagen.
