 to register for the 4th Annual Biomedical Informatics Symposium hosted by the 
Innovation Center for Biomedical Informatics (ICBI) at Georgetown University on 
Friday, October 16, 2015.

The Symposium will showcase exciting advances in the areas of molecular 
medicine, health data analytics, and related state-of-the-art technologies to 
advance Precision Medicine. This one-day event (free for academic members) will 
include talks by academic, industry, and government leaders in clinical and 
translational sciences who will highlight technologies, applications of 
informatics science and tools for biomedical research. This symposium will 
bring together a dynamic community of innovators, research scientists, 
clinicians, program managers, educators, and students to exchange ideas and 
learn new methodologies. The symposium also offers an opportunity to network 
and socialize with colleagues during the evening reception and poster session.

Call for abstracts for poster session:

We encourage all attendees to submit an abstract for poster presentation. 
Abstract submission for the poster session is now open. The deadline for 
submission is September 25th, 2015.

Abstracts can be submitted when you register for the event. We are accepting 
abstracts in the following areas of research:

* Molecular Disease Profiling (genomics, proteomics, metabolomics etc.)
* Clinical and Translational Research
* Information Retrieval
* Molecular Diagnostics
