Bioconductor is a large, open-source software development project that focuses
on the comprehension of large-scale -omics data. With over 100k downloads per
year and over 1000 developers, it has been successful because of a strong sense
of community, infrastructure that supports development, a focus on utility and
interoperability, and a strong set of software development fundamentals
(documentation, testing, etc.).

Notes, including slides and materials, from the Bioconductor Developer Day held
yesterday at Stanford are here:

Please feel free to forward as you see fit. I’d be happy to hear comments or
questions, also.

Thanks,
Sean
