Hi Everyone, I recently noticed that all ~30K open access TCGA pathology whole slide images (SVS files) have been removed from GDC<https://gdc.cancer.gov/> (including access via command line tool), IDC<https://portal.imaging.datacommons.cancer.gov/>, AWS<https://registry.opendata.aws/tcga/> Open Data Registry, & the Google Cloud API<https://isb-cgc.appspot.com/>. A general dynamics contractor helping to maintain the Google Cloud API told me that “NCI has currently removed availability of those images”. Does anybody here have any insight into why these were removed and what the timeline is for them being available again? Thank you in advance for your help, as these data are very important for some of our ongoing projects!
