Ah ok I understand.
At least this is a good thing anyway as all the other protocols are decoupled 
from the core bird routing table, and so doing this work should only lead to a 
more stable system overall?


PS; I agree that a community area for guides/manuals/configurations is a great 
idea :)

The problem is that RIP implementation currently maintains most of its state 
using the core routing table and it is closely tied with its routes in that 
table. Adding multipath routes would require some decoupling.
