Hi, Thanks for the info. I am running bird along with my application inside a container. And bird log is collected by my application. So installing another log daemon is not necessary/practical to me. I did a little more study on the code. And it looks like I can send the notification in some BFD event hook. Is there any chance this idea can be accepted? If yes, I can do some work after I finish the tasks in my hands.
