Hi Ontbirders,

There were two Snowy Owls seen today (Friday, 3 January around 8h.00 a.m.)
in the fields east of Casselman & north-east of the Hwy 138 exit from Hwy
417. Both were fairly heavily barred. There was one large flock (150+) of
Snow Buntings in the same area. A male American Kestrel was hunting in the
area around the 138 Exit.

For the record, the female Harlequin Duck is still on the Rideau River at
Strathcona, along with the male Wood Duck that has been there for quite some
time. A flock of 15-20 American Robins was seen feeding along Range Road
(Shirleys Bay).
