I don't know how regular the White-throated Sparrow is in Toronto at this time of year, but thought it worth reporting one sighting this afternoon in High Park (in the vicinity of the "Children's Garden"). It was in the company of a small flock of Dark-eyed Juncos, House Sparrows, & a couple of American Goldfinch. At one point it gave its soft "ghost" call (not bad for a snowy day in early January).
