Hello Ontbirders,

I've had some requests for further visits to see the SPOTTED TOWHEE at
Cruickston. Visitors on Tuesday and Thursday of this past week observed
the bird with some effort on Tuesday - mostly patience and quick
binoculars - and with more prolonged looks today particularly between
9:30 and 10:15.

As mentioned in previous postings, there are no public trails on this
section of the Reserve; however, both the tenant and CCRR again have
give permission for birders to accompany me, Bill Wilson, to view the
bird. If you are interested in seeing this bird, please e-mail me
[EMAIL PROTECTED] This weekend, I am available on Sunday (26th) and as
a courtesy to the tenants will visit the property after 9:30 a.m. Please
meet me at the Garden Gate parking lot at 9:30 a.m. During next week,
I'm only available Monday morning (27th) and Friday morning (31st). On
Monday and Friday, I will meet birders at the Garden Gate parking lot at
9:00 a.m.

Directions to Blair-Cambridge (5 minutes from 401): Take 401 Highway to
Exit 275 (Doon/Blair). You will be driving towards Blair-Cambridge on
Fountain Street. Follow Fountain Street (Road #28) to Blair Road. The
intersection of Fountain Street and Blair Road is just before the
Fountain Street bridge over the Grand River. Turn right on Blair Road,
driving immediately into the Village of Blair on Blair Road. [See page
28 Ontario Road Atlas MapArt] The Garden Gate/Bleu Monk is located in
the middle of the Village. This historic building has a large parking
lot beside the building - the CCRR office is on the second floor.
Please meet me in the parking lot. For further information on CCRR, go
to www.cruickston.com .
