There was a smallish , fairly dark Peregrine chasing rock doves this afternoon near Markham Road between Ellesmere Road and Lawrence Avenue in Scarborough. I was on an errand so did not observe the bird for long and could not tell if any bands were present. A light phase Rough-legged Hawk has been seen a few times recently north of Sheppard Avenue between Neilson Rd. and Meadowvale Rd in Scarborough , along with a Red-tail or two.
