Early this afternoon a sub-adult Peregrine cruised by my 8th-floor office window, close enough to see the face pattern quite distinctly. The bird hunted in the vicinity of the Centre in the Square for a few minutes, landing on the roof briefly, before disappearing behind nearby apartment buildings.
