Several of us from the Hamilton Naturalists' Club are doing our utmost to save these lagoons as wetland (shorebird) habitat. We have presented a proposal and are at present engaged in discussion and meetings with regional and municipal politicians as well as staff. We'll let you know (if Mark permits) about our progress or if we need your letters phone calls etc.
