Six Willets were at LaSalle park, Burlington resting on the floating wave breaker off the end of the walking path that extends out into the harbour. They preened and rested but never fed and only flew off twice, returning within a few minutes. One had a damaged (broken?) leg and found it difficult to perch on the wooded top of the barrier. They were present from at least 10AM to 7:45PM and provided excellent photos.
