Observations: Although the local vultures and red-tails were active there was not much else. A lone osprey braved the storms and Tom had a great look at a dark morph Broad-winged Hawk that took a great interest in the "owl tree" and gave Tom a very clear view. In Tom's own words "the bird was crow black". It pays to be a regular counter eh Tom? ======================================================================== Report submitted by Bill Brown ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Beamer Conservation Area, Grimsby, ON information may be found at: http://www.hwcn.org/link/niaghawk/index.html Beamer Conservation Area is located on top of the Niagara Escarpment above the town of Grimsby, Ontario.
