May 15 started slow for a few wet birders, but VinVilla area produced 15 species of WARBLERS plus a YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER. On apple blossoms on the Winery Trail, with sun behind us and a woodlot background - CAPE MAY, WILSON"S WARBLERS were among the standouts with GREEN HERON, EASTERN BLUEBIRDS, BROWN THRASHER, and RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRDS for support. Shorebirds at the tip an d the breakwater at the Pelee Club (Sheridan Point - NE) included SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER, RUDDY TURNSTONE, DUNLIN, BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER.
