Three Brant were present on the islands adjacent to Eastport Drive in Burlington today at about noon. They were resting on the island about third from the northernmost island.
A Red-headed Woodpecker was present at Shell Park at about 1PM. It was near the corner of the "L" pathway at the north-east corner (of the trail leading north to the open fields) of the park (near the ventilation pipe thingy). It was vocal. Also at Paletta and Shell Park many warblers, including at least a dozen N. PARULAs. Paletta Park is on the Lakeshore between Walkers Line and Appleby Line, and Shell park is on the Lakeshore just east of Burloak Drive.
