Hi Ontbirders

It is still rather slow for landbird migration due to the hot, humid
weather that is gripping our area. Yesterday, August 14th, I birded
the Britannia Conservation Area and observed 6 species of warblers :
Blackpoll (first for the fall), Yellow, Pine, Yellow-rumped, American
Redstart and Common Yellowthroat. There was a small number of
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks , Baltimore Orioles and one Scarlet Tanager.
At Costance Bay the Red-headed Woodpeckers were still present feeding in
the old burn area.
                                                        good birding
                                                          Bruce
