The Bruce Birding club started it's schedule again today and the hot spot of
the day was Miramichi Bay where the bird of the day, a Stilt Sandpiper was
seen along with other shore birds including Greater and Lesser yellowlegs,
Least Sandpiper, Black-bellied Plover, Semipalmated Plover and Killdeer.

Miramichi Bay can be reached from Hwy 21 which joins Port Elgin and
Southampton. From the highway take the Tenth Concession towards the lake and
turn right at the bottom onto Miramichi Road. The first Bay you come to is
Miramichi Bay.
