Late this afternoon there were two Brant along the shoreline east of Bronte
Harbour. The Brant were feeding in the water with Canada Geese, Mallards,
Gadwall and American Wigeon.

A very distant jaeger sp. was seen offshore.

There are still several Red-necked Grebes around but none were identifiable
as juvenile.

Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Road and go to the lake. Turn left at
Ontario St. The jaeger was seen from the pier but was a flyby. The Brant
were well east of the harbour. There is a path along the water's edge.
