While birding the Cranberry Marsh area, we stopped at Lynde Shores and observed two GREATER YELLOWLEGS flying across the marsh, and then feeding on a mudflat by the boardwalk. There were also a gr black-backed gull, bufflehead, and several common mergansers visible. American Tree Sparrows were common in the whole region.

Down at the bottom of Brock Street, there were large numbers of mergansers and bufflehead, plus several GADWALL and 4 dc cormorants at the base of the bulkhead. Across the bay there were 5 BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERONS roosting in a tree by the shore, while overhead was a kettle of 5 tv's.
