  Highlights of reports received November 20 through November 
  26 from the Niagara Frontier Region include GOLDEN EAGLE, 
  gulls, ROSS'S GOOSE and BL.-GR. GNATCATCHER. 

  November 25, a very rare GOLDEN EAGLE was reported at the 
  unexpected location of the lower Niagara River, near the 
  Adam Beck overlook in Ontario. 

  Nine gull species have been reported on the Niagara River 
  this week, though the quick change to winter weather may 
  bring more gulls into the area in time for the Thanksgiving 
  holiday.  A CALIFORNIA GULL continues to reside along the 
  New York shore just downriver of the Robert Moses power 
  plant, as seen from the Beck overlook. THAYER'S GULL, 
  ICELAND GULL and L. BLACK-B. GULLS also on the lower river 
  and LITTLE GULL in the falls gorge. 

  ICELAND GULL and L. BLACK-B. GULL were also noted on Lake 
  Ontario at Dietz Road, to the east of Four Mile Creek State 
  Park in the Town of Porter. 

  November 23, on the Lake Erie shore in Ontario, at Lowbanks 
  in Wainfleet, a very rare ROSS'S GOOSE was reported with a 
  flock of CANADA GEESE. At Rock Point Park in Dunnville, a 
  BL.-GR. GNATCATCHER continues it's unprecedented stay in the 
  region. The gnatcatcher, which was first discovered November 
  1, has been at the eastern side of the park at the boardwalk 
  and platform. Also at Rock Point, a single PURPLE SANDPIPER 
  on the beach, plus 3 NOR. SAW-WHET OWLS in the park. 

  From the northwest corner of Wyoming County, a COMMON RAVEN 
  was reported again on Bailey Road in the Town of Bennington. 

  TUNDRA SWANS were reported at widespread locations. In 
  Ontario, 20 at Morgan's Point in Wainfleet and 184 at 
  Stonemill Road in Fort Erie. And at the Iroquois Refuge, 76 
  TUNDRA SWANS at Cayuga Pool. 

  From the Lake Ontario Plains this week, 25 HORNED LARKS and 
  25 LAPLAND LONGSPURS in the fertile fields along Hulbert 
  Road in the Town of Newfane. At Golden Hill State Park in 
  Somerset, a flock of 200 SNOW BUNTINGS, plus COMMON REDPOLLS 
  and a single EVENING GROSBEAK. 

  Other reports this week - in Clarence, 2 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS 
  at Strickler and Greiner Roads, and GREAT BLUE HERON and 
  BELTED KINGFISHER on Keller Road. Another ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK 
  off the Thruway in Pembroke. COOPER'S HAWK at a feeder on 
  Ruie Road in North Tonawanda. On private property on 
  Pleasantview Drive in Lancaster, a NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD 
  became the 160th species listed on the property, along with 
  2 YELLOW-R. WARBLERS, 4 RED-W. BLACKBIRDS and 2 COMMON 
  GRACKLES. And in Buffalo, CAROLINA WREN on Depew Avenue and 
  8 MERLINS on the UB Main Street Campus.
