Ontbirders,

At noon today (Saturday) I saw a single female Common Redpoll eating nyger seeds on the ground with juncos. It didn't join the goldfinches at the nearby silo feeders filled with nyger, yet. When redpolls come south for the first time, they don't know about feeders, but soon learn. Earlier in the week, we had a few Pine Siskins at the feeders. Location below.
