The Yellow-throated Warbler (Dendrolca dominica) found 5 days ago continues to remain at Prince Edward Point. On Thursday, April 22 it hung around the trees on the front lawn of the BSC Bird Banding Station. Easy birding, but should it become captured in the nearby mist nets, it may depart quickly.

The lane down to the Lighthouse had numerous Towhee, Blue Grey Gnatcatchers, Yellow-rumps, some Hermit Thrushes, and a Fox Sparrow. At the Lighthouse were: Cliff Swallows, Northern Rough-winged Swallows, Barn Swallows.

Traverse Woods also had: Nashville Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Brown Thrasher, Lincoln's Sparrow. Numerous: Pine Warblers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets and Winter Wrens. Green-winged Teal and Blue-winged Teal nearby. Broad-winged Hawks and a Red-shouldered Hawk were seen, and a lone Pine Siskin at the BBS.
