Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 12:00:00
Total observation time: 4 hours

Official Counter: Calvin Brennan

Observers: Jim Maki

Weather:
Today began partly clear with sunny breaks but heavy cloud cover moved into
the area within the first hour of the count. Winds were moderate to strong
out of the southeast.

Observations:
Most of the movement for the day was early and shut down for the most part
in the early afternoon in anticipation of the rain that began by mid
afternoon. Other than some fair sized groups of TVs the flight was light
overall highlighted by a low flyover of a sub adult Golden Eagle. It was
one of those “see every feather on the bird” looks that you hope for.
Spectacular!
