A fox sparrow or two was near the bottom of the stairs from the parking lot to the riverside trail.
Each along Old Finch, about 1/2 mile west of Meadowvale Rd. were two Cooper's hawks, one adult, the other juvenile.

Late this morning, Gunnar Bessel and I spotted a female red bellied
woodpecker from the parking lot on Old Finch Ave. at the north end of
Rouge Park.
