Hi Everyone
Both yesterday and today I birded a few GGO sites and observed 10+
yesterday and today,in the morning fog, another 15+. As mentioned before,
both the March Valley Road and the intersection of Kilmaurs Side Road and
Dunrobin Road are still the most reliable sites. Also in the area was a
Northern Shrike and winter finches including Common Redpoll, Pine Siskin and
a single Hoary Redpoll. There were 2 adult Red-headed Woodpeckers present
today frequenting both the old burn site and 114 Goodin Street, feeding at
the suet feeder.
Yesterday, at the Trail Road Landfill Site there were 10+ Glaucous, 4
Iceland and a few 100 Great Black -backed and Herring Gulls.
                                                good birding
                                                        Bruce
