This afternoon my wife & I saw 19 GGOWs in two hours in previously reported
areas immediately west of Ottawa. At one site we noticed two observers
walking up to and flushing an owl. These birds are highly stressed.
Flushing them increases their stress, sometimes with fatal consequences;
please enjoy them from a respectful distance!
