Hello Birders.
Here in the Pinery Provincial Park today the Gt. Blue Heron that appeared a few days ago was seen leaving the Park in a N.Easterly direction. Also there is a flock of over 80 REDPOLLS that visit the Pinery feeders at the Visitor Center. Two seem to be HOARYS. A RAVEN was feeding last week between our local pair of BALD EAGLES on KETTLE POINT. Fishermen had discarded CARP on the ice and this was a bonanza. However it was last seen by Rob Tymstra on Thursday of last week. The PINERY PROVINCIAL PARK is situated in S.W. Ontario on the S.E shore of Lake Huron a few Km. from Grand Bend on Highway 21. Kettle Point is North of Forest and 11 miles or 18km. South of Pinery. I prefer to turn left at the white church and drive clockwise around the almost rectangular reserve.
                   Good Birding.
                                          Alf.
