Hello ontbirders,

An evening walking around High Park uncovered a Great Egret in the southwest area of Grenadier pond. In addition to that delightful bird, I found an Orchard Oriole singing away near the downward turn on to Deer pen Road.

Not a whole lot of warbler activity this evening. Many Yellow-Rumped, 2 Yellow, 2 Nashville an American Redstart and a few assorted Chipping Sparrows.

A pair of Wood Duck and the resident Black-Crowned Night heron are usually easy to find.

Good birding,

Jay Peterson
