Yesterday while on the Pine knot Golf Course I had a flicker feeding on
the 12th fairway and to-day at 4:45 we have had one of the two fox
sparrows that have been at the feeder since Nov. 18 return to feed
tonight.
Pine Knot Golf Course is at the intersection of Hamilton Road and
Highway 73 just east of Dorchester and eas of London.
The fox sparrows have been at 315 944 31st line in Oxford County,
three roads east of Oxford Road #6 (through Embro to Stratford) or
straight north on Oxford road 7 from Ingersoll and 9440 meters north of
Highway 2 (No guarantees on this one with the snow we now have, but you
are welcome to come to try. These birds have been feeding north of the
feeder under the honeysuckle in the back yard. Parking on the concession
road is dangerous and there is room towards the north of the
drive-shed.)
