Bird numbers increased somewhat today but we still await the main push of migrants. Best areas to bird were Lighthouse Point and Sheridan Point where a good variety of warblers could be found, including AMERICAN REDSTARTS, ORANGE-CROWNED and CAPE MAY WARBLERS, and NORTHERN PARULA. A GREY-CHEEKED THRUSH was found at Lighthouse Point while Fish Point had a YELLOW-THROATED VIREO.
Yesterday, BLUE-WINGED and BLACKPOLL WARBLERS, and a LITTLE GULL were seen at Lighthouse Point.
