Wheatley Harbour is located approximately 12km east of Point Pelee National Park
My husband and son called to ask me to post that they found an ADULT
CALIFORNIA GULL at Wheatley Harbour, near Point Pelee. They had the bird on
the westerly concrete wall at the mouth of the harbour. They watched and
photographed the bird for a while until it flew to the beach on the east
side of the mouth of the harbour. They have yet to relocate it.
