Weather: Very limited visibility in fog with light NE winds backing to WSW. The sun broke through briefly at 1:00 pm. Then the wind increased from the WSW and moved dense fog back in off the lake. Morning temperatures hovered near 2. When we had a brief break in the fog the temperature rose to 7 but quickly dropped to 4 when the fog rolled back in. Raptor Observations: All off the birds seen today were in the brief 15 minute period between 12:55 and 13:10 when a bit of sun broke through the fog. Non-raptor Observations: Song Sparrows, Bluebirds, Flickers, Downies and Juncos were seen near the tower. Predictions: Fog again in the morning with South winds at 15 kph. Hopefully the wind will be strong enough to break up the fog. If so there should be a good bit of sunshine. Morning low near 1 and afternoon high near 9. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Claude Radley ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Holiday Beach Migration Observatory information may be found at: http://hbmo.org/
