Yesterday afternoon, we saw three Short-eared Owls on the 20th sideroad
between the 6th and 9th Lines east of Metz. We watched two of these owls
sitting at the edge of the road eating their yummy looking mice....The Snowy
was on the 25th sideroad between 6th and 7th lines sitting on the groung to
the north, somewhat difficult to see in the dull flat light.

The Shrike was at the intersection of the 25th sideroad and 7th line sitting
on a wire.

We were out between 4:00 pm - 6:00pm.

This area is south-east of the intersection of Hwys 6 and 9 and can be
acessed off of either roads.
