At about 10 am this morning, I observed the Harris's Sparrow in the
campground at Long Pt P.P. The bird was hanging out with a small flock
of White-crowned Sparrows.

At around 1 pm this afternoon Fergus Nicholl found a Black Vulture with
a flock fo Turkey Vultures at the Tip of Long Pt. Later today around
5:30 pm Stu Mackenzie saw the bird with a flock of eight Turkey Vultures
soaring over the Old Cut woodlot. The bird landed in one of the
cottonwoods in the woodlot before moving over to a large cottonwood in
Long Pt P.P. It was still there when I left it about 7 pm. The Turkey
Vultures went to roost in the pines in the park and the Black Vulture
probably did the same.

Seeing it from the dyke at the Old Cut woodlot tomorrow morning may be a
good bet.
