Hi Everyone,
Spent the day birding various areas in eastern Ontario. At St. Isidore Sewage Lagoon the Marbled Godwit was still present feeding in the south-west cell. There was also a good number of Semipalmated Plover 150+. The Alfred Sewage Lagoon had an interesting variety of waterfowl including 75+ Ruddy Duck, 1 Snow Goose and 9 Redhead. Both Casselman and Embrun Sewage Lagoons had very few birds. At the Mer Bleue 2 "Yellow" Palm Warblers were observed along the boardwalk along with a few Lincoln's Sparrows. This location has had "Yellow" Palm Warbler for the past 3 years. The Red-headed Woodpeckers were present this afternoon at the " Old Burn Site" at Constance Bay. Three adults were observed calling and flycatching. A total of 11 species of sparrows were observed including a late White-crowned Sparrow.
                                                   good birding
                                                   Bruce
