A  flock  of  5  Sandhill  Cranes  were once again sighted in the Port
  Loring  area.  They were feeding in the field behind the Argyle Public
  School  in  Loring  on  hwy.  #522.   This  flock has been seen almost
  everyday for the last few weeks feeding anywhere from Loring to fields
  south of hwy.   #522 to Toronado Road west of Loring.

Migrating shorebirds are starting to show up here in Port Elgin and
Southampton. Today at Mirimichi Bay, there were 4 Least Sandpipiers, 4
Semiplamated Plover, Killdeer with young, Common Tern and Caspian Tern.
Directions
Mirimichi Bay is west of Hwy #21 on 10th Conc. Saugeen north of Port Elgin.
Travel west approx. 2 km and turn right (north), the first intesection and
Mirimichi Bay and Horseshoe Bay are on your left as you travel along Lake
Huron towards Southampton, Chantry Island can been seen of shore.
